MAPS

The February 2014 challenge for Arts in the Cards is "Maps".  Such fun. I decided not to use any of the hundreds of maps and images of maps I have stashed everywhere.  Instead, I used blue print diagrams, or maps of buildings/structures, as a background. I colored, stamped, and stenciled geometric designs that reminded me of map markings. At a white elephant sale  I stumbled on a puzzle map of the San Francisco Bay area where live and love to live, and decided to use parts of it for folks to "assemble" little maps. Each card has a different section of the map on it. The backs of the cards have images of various scenes of the bay area on them.
